I have been in the beauty industry for 14 years now and I love it.....
I have gained qualifications in Nails, Beauty & Make-up
Teaching is a passion I have been in education for the last 6 years and I have loved every minute ,
I have taught in schools, private providers and FE college
all of which led me to build Platinum
there is nothing better than loving the job you do as it means you never work a day in your life
Alison Osborne (Tutor/Trainer) Beauty / Massage
Been a beauty therapist for around 20 years always had a passion for the industry, worked in variety of salons, spas and now I have started teaching to be able to pass on my years of experience to our learners. Specialise in beauty and massage but also have qualifications in other areas such as nails.
Sarah Frettingham (Tutor/Trainer) Nails and beauty
Qualified in beauty in 1996 and from there worked as account manager for 5 years in spas for a premium skin care brand. Started teaching in 2001 across all subjects in beauty at one of the largest colleges in the UK. Progressed to be a senior lecturer providing support for other tutors in 2008 set up Gloss salon (having 2 young children not sure what I was thinking) but Gloss is now 11 years old and I love being there treating my clients.
Specialising in nails teaching is in my blood and I thrive on passing down my industry knowledge to the next generation of talented therapists
Victoria Newton (Tutor/Trainer) Hairdressing
Been qualified in Hairdressing 12 years, I have worked in salons, mobile and had my own salon in the past. Last year I added to my skills by completed Nails and Beauty course at Platinum and it was here I realised I would like to progress in to teaching so I completed my teaching and assessing qualifications and am looking forward to passing on my skills to my learners.
